Matrix Xbox Mod Chip - The First Solderless Modchip ever !!
Here we had a very innovative design for Xbox modchips and - console mod chips for any console A ( likely the FIRST - no solder modchip ) no-solder, no-wire mod chip for the Xbox - but required only 1 screw and a very fine flexible Pin arm to be positioned over the "DO" Point on the Xbox - sometimes people complained this very fine connection point would slip off causing Xbox not to function - also after a while the DO point would wear completely down until no connection could be made- then the modchip could be soldered in anyway and the reverse side of the main board the Alternate DO point could be utilized.

Q. Can I put a PC DVD Rom Drive in an Xbox ?
A. Yes it is possible. Many brands of PC DVD rom drives do work in an Xbox but they cannot play original games only copied games - although original DVD movies will play fine. Careful wiring and fitting is still required. One particular DVD Drive by Samsung can play original games but they are hard to obtain now and require a lot of internal re wiring and Firmware upgrades.
Q. Can I put more than one Hard drive in my Xbox ?
A. Yes it is possible. We install regularly 2 hard drives in Xbox consoles. Many gamers do not need the DVD Drive and store alot of media and games only on the xbox so the more Data storage space the better- new data can easily transferrd by simple networking to the PC - wireless or by standard Lan 10/100 cable. 2x 500Gig Hard Drives are very common installations - thats right 1000Gig on an Xbox this is particularly important also for the business user who runs their xbox as a server and is a very cheap alternative to expensive computers and operating systems, or the serious media buff with plenty of space for movies games and music etc.
